Who In The Right Mind Hired Cleamie As A Surgeon? – Surgeon Simulator 2013 [Ep. 1]

Surgeon_Simulator

In case you guys were wondering why I haven’t been posting videos or blog posts, I was studying to be a surgeon the past 3 days, and I finally made it! I don’t know who in the right mind would hire me as a surgeon but somebody did.

Today I will be taking you along with me on my first heart transplant, I mean I can hardly control my own fingers and sure I stabbed myself with a needle and went into an acid-like trip or two but heyyyy can’t be any worse right?

In all seriousness, this is my first time playing Surgeon Simulator 2013, when the game first came out the trailer made me laugh and I thought to myself I have to get the game, but I wasn’t sure if I was willing to shell out $10 for this indie game. I ended up grabbing it during the Steam Summer Sale and I’ve got to say, it does not disappoint.

I already knew that the game was probably going to be frustrating so I buckle myself down and said to myself that I have to finish at least one “stage”. To my surprise I was actually having more fun than I am frustrated at the controls.

I hope you guys enjoyed the video as much as I enjoyed making it, I know it’s probably hard to watch considering it’s pretty long but I thought it was funny.

Dragon Age: Origins Game Review

Today I want to bring you Dragon Age: Origins game review.

Dragon Age

Dragon Age: Origins is developed by BioWare which is also the successor of the game Baldur’s Gate. Dragon Age: Origin is a 3rd person role-playing game that uses a tactical party-based combat system as the player is faced up in large-scale battles.¬†Like many RPGs, you create a character and have the choice of being a Human, Elf, or Dwarf, but you can also pick the back story of the character of your chosen, that all kind of effects which direction your story will start off as.

Dragon Age: Origins is set in Ferelden, every few hundred years, the darkspawn rises up and swarm the surface known as a Blight from an underground highway system created by the dwarves long ago called the Deep Roads. As the Grey Warden you will have to stop the Blight by gathering up companions and allies.

Dark Spawns

With the Blight fast approaching you are selected as the Grey Warden after passing the dangerous ritual called the Joining. The player, along with another Grey Warden, Alistair travel through Ferelden meeting and gathering companions along the way to help destroy the darkspawns and stop the Blight.

Cleamie’s Overall Thought

Bioware done a very very good job with the story as well as the combat system, the graphics are dark and bloody just the way I like them to be. I was truly immersed the game, I was able to learn new spells and skills as my party and I level. I also love the way BioWare make their characters and how you can interact with them, they’re funny but also have a unique story behind them.¬†¬†Being a¬†MMORPG/RPG fan you get used to the freedom of jumping all over the place most of the time, but Dragon Age: Origin is definitely not a game that gives you freedom to jump around like that.

In my opinion this game is high in replay value and with downloadable contents and expansion pack it should give you a few more hours of extended gameplay. ūüôā I personally played through the game twice and now I want to play through it again.

I feel like it’s truly a game you should try out yourself, maybe I’m trying too hard to not spoil the story for you guys by writing a short review. Forgive me.

I love BioWare, keep up the good work! Looking forward to Dragon Age Inquisition and maybe more Mass Effect?!

I give it 9/10 !

Frozen Synapse Free Game Giveaway

Looking for a game that’ll truly give you a challenge? Frozen Synapse might just be your game.¬†

Frozen Synapse

What the hell is Frozen Synapse?

It is a brilliant tactical turn-based strategy game. The story takes place in a cyber punk future where you are  a tactical commander assisting a resistance faction against a corporate government regime which has used its power to manipulate the populace.

Environments & Gameplay

The maps are randomly generated to create a range of walls and covers, as well as starting points for the squads.

Each round the player order varies individual armed units to eliminate the enemy squad, protect and escort the hostage. In multiplayer mode there are last-man-standing deathmatch, area protection and hostage extraction.

Dr.Evil

With that said on each turn, the players commands the soldier to a specific way point, you can set the direction the soldier is facing, as well as how the soldier aim, and shoot.

Once all the players are happy and commit to their action, watch how everything play out.

Dr. Evil seal of approval.

Frozen Synapse Red

Frozen Synapse Red is an expansion pack that was released on May 29th 2012, they added co-op gameplay for the single player campaign (human vs AI) as well as 15 new single player campaign missions, new multiplayer game mode, new riot shield unit, 10 new single player challenge missions as well as many other features.

steam_sale_photo

I know we’re all are burnt out from the Steam Summer Sale that happened recently, and probably am tired of me updating you guys on it daily but here is one last post regarding it. I just want to share a little of what I got from the Steam Summer Sale 2013.

I made a Steam Summer Sale Survival Guide but I didn’t completely follow it myself. *Ashamed :(* But I did end up getting really good deals on the games I’ve been wanting to grab.

Saints Row 3 Booty_Shaking_Lessons_

July 11th is when it all all started, I picked up Borderlands 2 Season Pass ($10.19) and Hotline Miami ($2.49) Now, I already own a copy of DMR-Free Hotline Miami from GOG but I just want to get it on Steam for the achievements and it was a great price.

July 12th Darksiders II ($9.99) | Sleeping Dogs ($6.24)

July 14th Borderlands 2: Siren Domination Pack ($0.33)

July 15th Dishonored ($10.19)

July 16th System Shock 2 ($2.49)

July 19th Far Cry 3 ($23.99)

July 20th Metro: Last Light ($29.99)

July 21st¬†Skyrim’s Dragonborn DLC ($9.99) |¬†Torchlight II ($4.99)

Total I spent about $110.88 overall in the Steam Summer Sale not as bad as I thought, and I did not spend as much money as I did compare to previous years.

And thank you to a little special someone for getting me Fez, Star Forge and Dark Souls can’t wait to try them out.

So how did you guys do?
