Hey everybody, enjoying the weather today? The long awaited Left 4 Dead 2 video is finally here!
We are playing a custom map that just came out not too long ago call Dniepr, I’ve tried out a lot of custom maps and so far this one is very well done, I’m very impressed. So I thought it would be nice to share the adventure with you all! Would love to try this map on versus mode too!
A little overview of Left 4 Dead:
Left 4 Dead 2 is a sequel to Valve’s game Left 4 Dead that came out on October of 2008, both games set during the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Both Left 4 Dead 1 and Left 4 Dead 2 are a first-person shooter, it is very important to play cooperatively whether it’s Versus, Scavenge, Realism, Survival or just plain ol’ Campaign mode.
Each maps are composed with three to five stages, the Survivors have to fight their way through to reach a safehouse, on the way you may find supplies or weapons you will need to reach the goal. The final stage is a rescue stage you’ll either have to survive waves of onslaught until the rescue arrives or there are varies of challenges you face before the rescue comes depending on the map.
I started out playing Left 4 Dead 1 on Campaign mode, I loved it spent hours on end playing it on expert 🙂 It wasn’t till Left 4 Dead 2 when I started getting into Versus and Scavenge mode. These two 4-on-4 competitive modes are really fun when you have a great team.
Even though I stopped playing Left 4 Dead for quite a while now, after recording this video I realized how much I actually missed the game and it brings back good memories.
So for those who played Left 4 Dead 1 or Left 4 Dead 2 I want to know what is your favorite game mode? And why?
For me both Expert Campaign mode and Scavenge are pretty equal to me, Scavenge is very simple and playing with a good team is great! Expert Campaign mode is awesome because it’s a lot more challenging and having to work as a team more brings people together.
Again thanks for reading, hope you guys enjoyed the video as much as I enjoyed making it! Suggestions and feedbacks are always welcome! Stay tuned for more!
I’ve been itching to play Hotline Miami again, need to get caught up! Last time on Hotline Miami….
For those who knows me I’ve always enjoyed all things zombie related. I just want to share a little bit of my history with “zombies”. When I was 8 years old I fell in love with the game Resident Evil 2 also known as Biohazard 2. I’m pretty sure most of you heard, played, or seen the game series or maybe have watched the movies.
Resident Evil 2 (Biohazard 2) was developed by Capcom for Playstation 1. The story takes place in Raccoon City where the residents got turned into zombies by the T-Virus, a Bio Weapon developed by the Umbrella Corp. You play as Leon S. Kennedy, first day on the job as a Police Officer at Raccoon City (“Bad Luck Leon”anyone? xD) Later on bumped into Claire Redfield who is looking for her brother Chris Redfield. With the fix camera view and the creepy slow door creaking open loading screen adds on the freaky feeling to this great survival horror game, not to mention puzzles, and limited ammo makes the game a little bit more challenging.
Unfortunately I don’t enjoy the other Resident Evil games as much as the 2nd one like the survival horror has been taking out of rest of the Resident Evil series.
Through out my experiences of trying out all different types of zombie games for years the DayZ mod from Arma 2 really made an impression on me, the realism of the gameplay really is really intriguing, it is definitely not a game where you can jump in for 20 mins and stop, being dropped into a huge map making it hard to meet up with your friends, on top of that having to worry about hunger, thirst, and your temperature for the total survival experience. Not only would you have to worry about finding supplies and zombies hearing or seeing you, you have to worry about other players killing you and robbing everything you spent hours scavenging. It’s kill or be killed right? 😛
Here is my favorite video on YouTube on DayZ.
I would like to know what is your favorite zombie game or horror game? If you don’t like horror games, what is your favorite game or games?
